Jesus is God
The Bible is so evident in stating that Jesus is God. In John 10:30 (NIV), Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” We all know that Heavenly Father God is God. When Jesus said that He and the Father are one, that makes Jesus God as well.
There are many other Scriptures in the Bible stating that Jesus is God. Here are some of them:
1. John 8:19b (Amplified Bible) Jesus said, “If you knew Me, you would know My Father also.”
2. This is Jesus in Revelation 1:8 (New Living Translation) “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
3. In John 1:1-5, the Word and the Light refer to Jesus. Here is John 1:1-5 (New Living Translation) In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
4. Jesus said in John 14:10 (NASB), “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.”
5. John 5:30-32 (New Living Translation) Jesus said, “I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will. If I were to testify on my own behalf, my testimony would not be valid. But someone else is also testifying about me, and I assure you that everything he says about me is true.”
6. John 5:19b-24 (NASB) Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”

Jesus is Love
Jesus loves us so much that He laid down His life for us and was crucified on the cross. On the third day, He rose again. This is the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The Bible states that love is from God and that God is love. 1 John 4:9-10 (NASB) By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 8:35-39 (NASB) Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, “FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.” But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life
Jesus said in John 14:6 (NASB), “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” This Scripture is saying that we cannot enter the Kingdom of God or Heaven unless we believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Personal Savior in our lives. It is very simple to have eternal life in Heaven. All we need to do is confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. And whoever will call on the Name of the Lord Jesus will be saved. The Bible also says that whoever believes in Jesus will not be disappointed.
With these assuring words from God, what have we got to lose.
Please take this moment now and say to God that you are sorry for your sins. Ask God to forgive you of all your sins. Tell God that you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and that you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day.
After you talked with God, then start living a good life, read the Bible daily, continue to talk to Jesus and attend a church regularly. From there, you will grow spiritually in Jesus. And you will have a more joyful life in Jesus.

Jesus is the Light of the World
In John 8:12 (NIV), Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
1 John 1:5-10 (New International Version) This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Jesus is our Healer
All throughout the Bible, we can find instances of Jesus healing people. Since, Jesus is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow, we can boldly state that Jesus still heals us from all diseases.
Isaiah 53:5 (Amplied Bible): But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
1 Peter 2:24 (NLT): He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
In the New Testament, the first time we read about Jesus healing people was in Matthew 4:23 (NLT): “Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.”
Some people think that the first recorded healing that Jesus did was in John 4:46-54 (NIV): “Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. “Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus replied, “You may go. Your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour.” Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and all his household believed. This was the second miraculous sign that Jesus performed, having come from Judea to Galilee.”
All throughout Jesus’ life here on this earth as a man, He healed everyone who came to Him asking for healing. Today, Jesus is still healing people who ask Him for healing. He is our healer. Amen.

Jesus is our Hope
In these times when everything seems to be happening…wars, economic problems, global warming, natural disasters, etc., we can rest assure that Jesus is still on the throne. He is still in control, and we can put our hope in Him.
In Matthew 12:18-21 (NASB) God the Father said about Jesus: “Behold, My servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased; I will put My spirit upon Him, and He shall proclaim justice to the gentiles. He will not quarrel, nor cry out; nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A battered reed He will not break off, and a smoldering wick He will not put out, until He leads justice to victory. And in His name the gentiles will hope.”
In Acts 2:22-28 (NKJV), Peter said, “Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. For David says concerning Him: ‘ I foresaw the LORD always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’ ”
Romans 5:1-5 (NIV): Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Isaiah, a prophet, said in Romans 15:12 (NIV), “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope.”
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NIV): May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
Titus 2:12-14 (NIV): It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
1 Peter 1:3-4 (NIV): Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you.
1 Peter 1:13-14 (NIV): Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
